The sweetest lovers
You'd call them
The best match,
You'd say.
She who is always naughty,
Comes in a rush towards him,
Taking away bits of him with her.
And when he, 'short-tempered', gets mad,
She returns to give return what she'd taken.

She makes him smooth
While he makes her more beautiful.
Sometimes out of love
She gives him shells,
To save as a souvenier.
Yes, the best lovers one can see
The sea and the shore..............................

That day too they played,
She growing naughty every minute..............
She rushed towards him
Engulfing some of the sand castles he'd made for her......
The short-tempered shore,
Grew angry and screamed at her for the 1st time.

At this she grew emotional,
She was overpowered with anger and sadness...........
She retreated slowly from the shore,
Going away from him more and more.....................
'Is he loosing her? '
Thought the shore,
'No, come back'
He called
But she was too far away...............................
The spoilt sea
Growing more nd more angry
Plotted a revenge.
'I'll show him what I can do'
She thought.

With somuch power
She came towards the shore
Who was happy at her sight
But soon regreted as he knew she was fast,
Very fast
Becoming a demon every minute....................
As she reached the shore
She opened her mouth wide
Swallowing everything that existed on the shore...............
The people, the trees
The animals, the buildings
All were gone
All were lost..................
The shore became a pauper.

'Tsunami, tsunami' he muttered
Along with the cries of the families,
Along with the frightening laughter
Of the sea
Who was dancing on the shore...............................


(Yes a frightening revenge it is)
