The Stranger Poem by Kim Hoolihan

The Stranger

Rating: 5.0

A funny thing happened to me today,
I spoke to a blind man and he looked my way.
He said 'Good morning' just his dog as his guide,
It made me feel guilty deep down inside.
He smiled with sincerity as he spoke to me,
As he talked to me I sensed he could see.
I learnt so much from that starnger so kind,
I learnt it was me not he who was blind.
