The Stranger Poem by David Bunnell

The Stranger

I look around and see strangers,
Those I think I know are different to me,
I'm confused more each day,
I try to meet others,
I don't find a bond,
I feel alien,
A stranger in a new world,
A brick among stones,
A traveling man,
New faces soon forgotten,
Wandering among the cities,
Learning new ways,
I am a stranger.
