The Stranger That Found Me Poem by Chukwuemeka Ezeamalu

The Stranger That Found Me

The stranger that found me
In the dark at full light
That spot; though, crowded be
I fought alone with might

Against monsters of wiles
That faint heart of mine serves
There, sank my guts and guiles
While her, all hers she has

Plunged in unknowns of Why?
For the love I have lost
Wished this world I said bye
And no more I should lust

But she came and winged me
To fly past countries far
Where love abounds like sea
And fixed me without scar

Anew my heart, anew my love
And all I lost; regained
'Bove all wonders I'm loved
And all my hollows filled.
