The Straw Poem by Hardik Vaidya

The Straw

Rating: 5.0

While serenading the silent breeze
With the burden of moon beams on my shoulders
Strange noises blinding the deaf within me,
The dark night chirping into me,
Your thoughts scurried across,
Cris crossing my lanes,
Knocking the shadows of trees.
A straw stray thought floating in the calm air,
Still yet moving,
Fell on me,
You.
That stray kiss,
Stolen from the moons sigh,
Avenging the lost loves
Of all times.

Very calm and soothing poem, interesting and enticing imagery throughout it. Loved reading this poem, it slid across my mind like a puck on ice, leaving an indelible impression like that of snow before melting. Great poem, Hardik, enjoyed it very much! Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
