The Streets Poem by Baron von Savage

The Streets

I implore you to,
Open your eyes fool
And your ears too,
Your vigilance is crucial in these streets that seek to devour you.

These streets,
Are more than tarred roads
Pavements
And concrete they have a pulse,
A rhythm,
And if you listen closely
You can hear their heart beat,
Vibrant and violent.

Some streets are alive with violence, while others lead a life of serenity. Thanks for sharing, Lungelo

Thank you for your comment! The streets are a very scary place, but nestled within all that chaos and danger, is hope...
