To the one who will never be forgotten
You said you loved me now let me go
Before you tell me what I know
You think I would really care
When all I’ve ever known is this dark despair
You’d think a heart like mine would be used to it by now
When all that remains are the scars to remind me how
How we never even said goodbye
My faith died just to let you go

Your voice I can still hear
Wish this would all just disappear
Since when did I need help?
And what about my mental health
The state of my mind is in control
But at the bottom of my soul
I’m yearning to be let loose
At the end of a bottle I’m finding my abuse
Just to stop the urge to fight
As it helps me sleep at night
