The sun was behind us,
looking out the clouded window,
you could see it.
Smelling the sunset,
in your soaked sleep.
Drive a little longer.
Live a little longer.
Like birds flying south
for the winter,
but without destination.
Just keep going.
Drive a little longer,
Live a little longer,
is all the motivation it takes.
Here today, gone tomorrow,
Shades on, wipers off.
We just keep going and going,
