The Survival Anthem

Civilization has come to an end,
mankind is almost extinct,
observe the stars as they descend
and the chain gets unlinked

Lost in the deep ends of the world
searching for an asylum,
the greatest story ever told
'The Survival Anthem'

Lead by the will to survive
guided by the moonlight,
the mission is to stay alive
and make it through the night

The best is selected
he will fulfill his own fate,
he shall be elected
and be called 'The Great'

No gluttony or greed
all loathing must go away,
you must form your own creed
or be led astray

The tutorial is over now
be sure to win,
arise to the prow
and let the game begin!

Poet's Notes about The Poem

This poem is space-related or sci-fi if you might. Just a simple idea about a group of 7 who need to survive the space apocalypse. I may write another chapter :)
