The Sweetest Song Poem by spiritual seeker

The Sweetest Song

Let me sing the sweetest song,
That tell the saddest journey of life,
For I have now reached the edge of dusk,
And life is full of toil and strive.

Let me sing the saddest song,
That tell the laughter and playful moments of life,
For soon I will meet my creator,
And confess to all the lies.

Let me hymn, and tell my remorse and regrets,
Before the last gasp of my breath,
For man always tend to forget,
To sing a song that reminds one of death.

powerful and expressive... smart piece of advice for us; at the edge of dusk. :)
