The Thing I Miss Most Is...

...the sensation of my heart skipping a beat
...the perfect form of your small feet
...the crooked smile that appears on your lips
...the butterfly above the curve of your hip
...the warmth of when we touch each other
...our tender hands holding one another
...eyes full of mischief staring at me
...you opening my drink or fixing my tea
...the intoxicating smell of your hair
...the subtle ways you show that you care
...basically everything you do
...everything that makes you, you!

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
