The Thought Poem by Sebastian Soberania

The Thought

Rating: 5.0

the thought of the next typhoon
after the previous one which washed out
27 lives to include the innocent children
buried without much thought under
the raging waters of the bridge,

gives the shivers such that when some dark clouds
begin to gather
along with the recent predictions of the weather bureau
one preempts
an evacuation of the thought that everything here
is temporary
that water no matter how liquid is always irresistibly
deadly.
