The Three Blind Men Poem by OLAYEMI AYO

The Three Blind Men

The path i never saw The lines i never envisaged The three blind men walked on that path My eyes was wide open, i could not see them My eyes was wide open i could not see a thing It was dark, darkness engulf everywhere and so i saw shadows of the evening, cooling of the night Nigeria is boiling of terror and terror attacks Terrorism is increasing on a daily basis Pensioners benefit's and entitlements are in the pockets of those above the law Laws are meant for the common men on the street and never the rich The three blind men ones ' pensioners , blind suddenly and abandoned to suffer a lot of loss at old age That path i never thought i will never go through, i am going through once in my life time

I am saddened by the state of affairs in your country and the plundering of the poor and middle class. Good luck and keep writing.
