The Ticking Of The Clock Poem by James Greene

The Ticking Of The Clock

Rating: 1.0

Time ticks away minutes of our life,
Things being put on hold.
Tick, tock, tick, tock,
Time doesn't love, it's cold.

Time wasted, time spent,
All gone by so quickly,
Tick tock, tick tock,
Everything came and went.

Sitting here idle,
Each and every day,
There has got to be,
A much better way.
Tick tock, tick tock.

So much to be said,
Immense amount to do,
Will I have enough time,
To make some dreams come true?
Tick tock, tick tock.

Best get busy
And fill each day,
With joy and adventure,
Really must not delay.
Tick tock, tick tock.

So goodbye clock,
Getting off my chair,
Going for all the gusto,
With wings and a prayer.
Tick tock, tick tock.
