The Tiger Poem by sodoko zavaki

The Tiger

I crouch down in the grass ready to pounce on my prey
But I only kill what I need
Humans cll me cruel but they don't see their own sins
They leave their garbage around for us to choke on
They lock us up in zoos
They pat us when we do something 'right' but whip us when we do something 'wrong'
We, animals face life and death situations every day
Humans have murderous
We pretect our land, our home
We are the tigers
