The Tongue Of The Learned Poem by Lisbon Tawanda Chigwenjere

The Tongue Of The Learned

Rating: 4.5

When I quarrel my voice reaches to the South,
Lord, put a cello tape on my mouth,
I want to relearn speaking,
That's all I am seeking
Like a little child teach me anew,
Teach me words I never knew,
Your Word I want to treasure,
So that in my words You will find pleasure

A lovely poem of Devotion, well articulated and nicely penned. A poem of total submission to the will of God. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
