The Tower Of Death Poem by Nicholas Wright

The Tower Of Death

Rating: 5.0

This Tower that keeps me hostage
Must be known as the tower of death.
I can just leap from it now
And all its power over me will be gone.

But perseverance is the mother of all things good
If faith is the believe in a better tomorrow
They believe that I am easily conquered
But I rise like the smoke to the sky after being tortured

I rise like the sea during a great storm
I rise like the eagle in great flight
I rise like the breeze when angered
I continue to rise and never to fall.

thank you... I guess for you it is easy to! ! ! We share similar circumstances. I am a political Science and Economics Major. Soon I will be pursuing a Law degree as well. I have a year left in my first degree program... what about you!

Ahhh. I can empathize with you, for I too have a loan yet to be repaid. I too have a contract with the Devil. We can only work hard, no, harder so that we can afford the debt and hopefully still have some coins left for perhaps some bread. What do you study? :)

To tell you the truth Julius, This poem is about my University Student Loan. The place you have to go to get it is a 10 story building, and from the top you can leap off to the bottom. this poem is a lament of what is to come, if it is that I cannot pay off this loan. The name of the place is the NCB Twin tower. The place where i signed over my life to the devil.

Hmmm, I suppose you're angst about the place that is keeping you in and restricting your freedom huh?
