The Train. Poem by Driss Ezzireg

The Train.

Rating: 5.0

Everywhere in this universe
True creations converse and pray
For our salvation. We, the little preys,
Who wander in sinewy roads down under
Wondering what path to take
Sunny lanes of joy or dark plains of pain
To sustain our short passage
In the luring pastures of today
Hoping that tomorrow will bring
Less sorrow, less strain when comes
The time to embark on the train
To the Unknown.
