The Trouble Was Me Poem by Gregory Chetty

The Trouble Was Me

I came to see you
you where at your place
the uneasiness i felt your smile did displace
something was wrong what could it be
little did i know the trouble was me

When i said i love you and i miss you to
you said 'so, whatever, and what must i do'
it really hurt a lot it cut very deep
my heart almost stopped, I started to weep
I said I'm sorry i truly repent
but those words of mine you deeply resent

you are the most important person to me
yet problems are endless, as wide as the sea
But I'm glad we made thing right my dear
because losing you is my worst fear
