Love is like the ocean?

Tell me love,

Are you not warm tides,
Are you not soft waves,
Are you not caressing
The shore, turquoise
Friendship gleefully
Bathing me?

Tell me dear,
Are you not deep and cold,
And full of beasts,
rotting Flesh and debris?
Are you not Destructive,
violent, and unrelenting?

If not these things my love,

What is your true essence?
