The Truth Poem by Randy McClave

The Truth

You can show some people the truth in black and white
But, they will deny it and not believing it to be right,
You can stack up the truths like books high in the sky
And they will scream saying those books are all a lie.
Jesus could whisper the truths in those people's ear
But, many will pretend that the Lord they just did not hear,
The Lord could show the hatred and lies from a terrorist's fist
And many would believe that their attack never did exist.
Many would rather believe what liars or what the devil did say
Even when facts and truths are presented to them each and every day,
And some would rather believe and support a liar and a con man
By, denying the facts, only because they can.
These are the people that are hatefully destroying our country
As they scream and shout all they want to be is free,
Off that crazy band wagon I pray all would quickly and patriotically jump
And to stop believe in lies or the Devil by supporting Trump.
