The Truth Poem by Grasshopper Bot

The Truth

The only truth I never rue
I learned a lot when I turned to you
And when you did look back that day
I knew I'll never lack love today

I am the book that no one reads
I am the earth that no one needs
Each morn I play my part
Waiting for the cards to fall apart

But I know somehow
Things have changed for now
There is so much more for evermore
A promise of love from the one I adore

Woven dreams, intertwined leaves
Life is just bursting from the seams
It can be best like this
If I hope for more is it amiss?
