The Truth Hurts Poem by Georgia Gingrich

The Truth Hurts

You may think you know everything,
Who, what, where, when, and why.

If theres one thing I know for sure,
It's that life is full of surprises.

No matter where you go,
Or who you one day will become.

We spend our whole lives searching,
For that one thing we desire.

Even if we are lucky enough to find it,
We will not notice.

Becuase we are to tied up in ourselves,
And what others think.

So you may think you know everything,
But the truth is, that you know nothing.
