The Truth I’ve Seen (1)

Living life as a walking dead
Depraved and void of love
Totally lost in Satan’s bed
I heard the voice above

“Come out of there, come in the light
Come see The Truth first hand
Come unto me receive your sight
And let me heal your land

I’ve so much love with you to share
I’ve so much more to give
Go tell the world how much I care
So that she too may live

Till now she’s lost from all that’s true
Her children die in shame
Go tell the truth I’m telling you!
In Jesus’ holy name

Reveal my child the things you’ve heard
The things your eyes have seen
Reveal in truth my every word
For now I’ve made you clean”

Much was the pain and numerous tears
I thought each day I’d fall
But now amidst my autumn years
That voice I still recall

He’s called the least to work before
That’s nothing strange or new
So now I’m called I’m more than sure
He’ll show me what to do

So many years at Jesus feet
So many ups and downs
I’ve seen how weakness meets defeat
And strong men lose their crowns P.T.O.
