The Un Cleverness Poem by Nick Hilton

The Un Cleverness

I used to be clever,
But present circumstances,
Contradict my assumption,
That this was ever the case,
But like my Dad always said,
It is better to be unclever,
Than to be stupid,
So I might not be dim,
But i'm sure to be damned,
If i'm cleverer than him.
