Too often we take for granted the riches we have
the support and love that our friends always gave
the kind words they say when times are rough
when we think that life couldn't be more tough.

But when we look back to where we have been
there are so many treasures that we have seen
like the loyal heart that's always by our side
and the shining spirit that has been our guide.

Even when it is hard to find the right words to say
their loving touch can help us through the day
and when we feel lost they can help us to cope
their faith in us giving us strength and hope.

These are things no amount of money can buy
but when given freely they create a strong tie
that no-one and nothing can ever break apart
because with love it's locked within our heart.
