The Unforgiving Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

The Unforgiving

Torrid sun burns the unforgiving
Way past the Roman mask
Down the corridor of idols
Justice without mercy

Deep into the unconscious antiquity
Worship at the feet of the sword
The alter of hatred and vendetta
Sphinx faces in the strange desert

Sire your forbidden fruit
Delight in the arms of envy
Chivalry with dark knights
They guard your soul from salvation

Labyrinth of lust covers vengeance
Volcano filled with contempt
Break the yoke of prodigal gold
Hatred lodges into the heart

Night with out stars
Day without sun
Leave the earth to war
Time heals not the unforgiving
