The Unknown Poem by Terry Cooper

The Unknown

Rating: 3.5

I wonder what
Will become of me
I have no goals at all you see
I do not dream I do not plan
You'll have to take me as I am

Don't count on me to care for you
I'm still not sure what I should do

I'm up to here with others thoughts
They've all decided what I ought!

I think I'll take it slow but sure
play it by ear, find a cure

If you're around when I am through
I'll share my life (what's left)
With you.

Wow, this is like Killing Me Softly! I feel YOU found my letters and read each one aloud. Don't worry about the votes, some idiot goes around giving undeserved 1s and doesn't have the balls to leave their name - it's happened to most of us here. Have a 10 from me. Hugs Anna xxx PS Thanks for you comments.

I do not dream I do not plan You'll have to take me as I am Hi Terry, I love those two lines of this poem. Good statement about making decisions for yourself. Good poem - A 10. Sincerely, Connie Webb
