The Untitled Poem Poem by Gabriel Clark

The Untitled Poem

The Untitled Poem

I have nothing to write
Nothing comes to mind.
I stare at this paper, This motionless
Rectangular, two-dimensional piece of reconstructed tree's
And I see nothing to write about.

I try to find some inspiration
Yet to no avail I find nothing
like a plain white room in a mental hospital.
Then It hits me,
Why make anything at all
So I make something out of that nothingness
Something that doesnt' need a title,
Something that Doesn't need words,
Yet needs something to fill this void on this
Motionless,
Rectangular,
Two- Dimensional
Piece of reconstructed tree

It seems impossible to bring life to this paper,
But then again I'm an artist,
A doctor that revives forgotten thoughts
I am Vick,
Forming Ideas,
Michael, making my pencil Moon walk across the paper
And Frankenstein, The one who brings them to life.

The pencil and eraser are my yin and yang,
Two best friends,
Equally yet oppositely the same as the other,
It reminds me of humans almost,
I repeat, Almost
Maybe I do have a subject to talk about
But what could it be.
It's like a riddle
If sally sells shells down by the sea shore,
Then Where did the corpse of hummpty dummpty go?
Maybe when humpty dumpty fell the kings men and the village put him back together
Was that the only time the village actually worked together to help just one person
Or was it that his death caused a great fortune to the village
Maybe that's why sally sold the sea shells down by the sea shore
Or the sea shells that she was selling,
was actually humpty dumpty's shell?

Do humans only help each other because there's a reward in return for there kindness
Or do they do it out of the kindness out of their heart?
I think the world is both yin and yang,
just only combined into a grey mish-mash of chaos
and randomness

Helping,
loving,
kindness,
Friendship,
Fear,
Death,
Pain,
Selfishness,

If this keeps up,
We'll just forever
Fall..........
