The Untold Secret Poem by mona miles

The Untold Secret

We have spent so much time together,
Set aside our differences and enjoyed our similarities,
Between the two of us we found peace and comfort,
Yet still something within us is seeking for more,
Deep down the sounds of pleasure are not enough.

Yet we should know that between both of us,
Nothing can ever be.
Friends is the word to be of our mouths,
What is in the hearts should be, but not be said.

It’s comforting to know that 2 hearts share the same secret
A secret we can’t share, not even between us,
We have everything to laugh about,
We have everything to smile at,
But this secret is nothing like any of that,
It’s a secret not to be said,
For we both can’t afford to listen.

When the time is right, between us we shall talk,
Who knows, maybe we can even laugh about it,
For when that time comes, this secret will hurt no more,
Until then, we will enjoy the pleasure of ‘THE UNTOLD SECRET’
