The Violence
the darkness i find,
in the back of my mind,
haunting and scaring,
my heart, it is tearing,
cant sleep,
it breaks the peace,
the thoughts in my mind,
I'm running from time,
so vague and so hopeless,
within days,
they have lost us,
we cower in fear,
weeks turn to years,
hiding in silence,
seeing this violence.
