The Virus Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Virus

Forty words:

Animal Influenza
is bringing us to our knees.
Poor little piglets are saying:
~~do forgive us please~~

This has happened before
in days of yore, the virus
spreading from shore to shore.
But never fret.
~~Man will conquer it yet~~

Joyce, who is blaming the piglets? Man is enemy, and nature will take its revenge. Regards, Ian
