The Vision Poem by Alexander Foald

The Vision

I used to wonder, if I ever had the time
Who could have put the stars on the nightly sky
And the one who wakes up the sun in the morning
To shine on through after such a long cold night

It’s unimaginable to have a different kind of view
When you blindly walk in the wrong path
But my feet walks as if they know where to go
Since you caught up all the pieces of my heart

And I’ll always wonder, if I ever get the chance
Who could have carved your sleeping face
And the one who could draw the curve
When you put the smile on the surface

Cause I just can’t get my thoughts off of you
Like a door gets stuck on its way on closing
It’s more like a wide open window
And you’re the vision when I look through
