The Voice Of A Child Poem by Anna Marie Wayne

The Voice Of A Child

Rating: 4.5

As one who is seen
But not often heard,
A Child can 'speak volumes'
Without saying a word.
In the eyes of a 'Little One'
Are seen thoughts never spoken
The revealing of truth,
In silence unbroken.
Acceptance and Guidance,
For these he cries out;
To know he belongs,
To trust without doubt.
These prayers of a child
Though quiet and small;
Are heard by the One
Who Created us all.
For God lives in fullness
That which we know in part:
The Voice of a Child
Is heard with the Heart.
