The Voyage Of My Love Poem by Ann Mary Thomas

The Voyage Of My Love

Rating: 5.0

Alone in the shore of loneliness
I wait for too long
for a hand to grab me,
for a smile to welcome me,
for a mind to care me,
for a heart to love me.

The smell of spring
bloomed my dreams.
The beauty of love
took its way to my heart.

The farsighted grey heads
peeped into the mind,
then days of horror.

The snow breeze melted the minds.
The flow of love went on.
The love went on and went on.
Love and Love only.

The storm of hatred
flew across the hearts.
The buds grew to thorns.
Another flower bloomed.
The bee was made to round it.

Days of loneliness.
Days for tear sheds.
Days on memories.
And so the thirty sixth moon passed.

The thorn grew into bud.
The hearts shone again.
The brightness came again.
The spring of love
flew across the minds.

Love got wings of angels.
It flies and flies
into the skies of happiness.
Let the spring breeze
of love blow,
and let the hearts bloom.
Gods invisible hands in this
Love and Love Only.
