The Wait Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

The Wait

Distance shrinks
In time and space,
With Love's communication.
Surpassing miles and mountains
And hours and days,
Rivers and valleys
And clicking of clocks.
Love grows.
To reach through
The invisible air,
Gaining weight,
Like a cloud growing with rain.
Building for a
Beautiful release,
To wash away,
The wait.
