The Water Is Fine - Poem by Pasquale DiMeola
When you whisper a weary 'I love you'
With a content stare of love's aftermath
And we lose ourselves in a sky so blue
Having emerged from a romantic bath
Who may prevent our hearts overtaking
This emotional surge such as we bound
May find in time how sadly mistaken
To envy that which is theirs' to be found.
