The Wave Poem by Leaking Pen

A violent wave came along
Swept me against my will
I closed my eyes to its current
And went into the valley of contemplation
To win a fight is to completely let go
And float in the spirit of surrender
Not from weakness or lack of desire to fight
But to embrace and float in the uncertainties of certainty
For as quick as this current draws me out to the unknown sea
It will cease to be and cleanse my path from stagnation
I will find my way back to safe shore
A free man renewed in the arms of hope
For life has embraced me again into its fold
And what began as shades of fear and doubt
Transformed me back to my essence
The core of faith from within!
