The Way I Inhale
Take a deep breath
Feel the beat of relief
Flowing blood pumps to the veins of the heart
Swallow the disappointments
Of unattained ambitions
Sense the heat
Flowing from the head to heart
Sense the stab,
Stab in the abdomen,
Which, ironically,
LEssened the pain.
