The White Lotus Poem by EU STRESS

The White Lotus

I saw a white lotus bursting open
To shoot out another white lotus from within,
Which blossomed to emerge yet another.

Incessant flowers burgeoned forth,
Each from the heart of the other,
Blooming a thousand white petals.

The possible symbolic implications were later procured from the internet:

The lotus flower has long been associated with spiritual symbolism and harmony and is believed to have healing powers through the use of it’s essences. It can be found in both Egyptian and Eastern philosophies and traditions. The white lotus is a beautiful symbol. White represents multidimensionality, because white contains all the colors of the spectrum. For the Egyptians, the lotus symbolized the sun and rebirth. In Buddhism, the white lotus symbolizes Bodhi, the state of total mental purity and spiritual perfection, and the pacification of our nature. It generally has eight petals corresponding to the Noble Eightfold Path of the Good Law. It is the lotus found at the heart of the Garbhadhatu Mandala, being the womb or embryo of the world. It is characteristic of the esoteric sects, and the lotus of the Buddhas. The crown Chakra is also called 'The Thousand Petalled Lotus', which is a symbol of final revelation. It is believed that the transformation of the world into paradise can occur through the lotus, which expounds fully the oneness of all life. In Buddhist tradition, the fully opened lotus has a strong solar character and its petals are likened to the rays of the sun. It is a symbol of enlightenment. In the Egyptian tradition this same theme is repeated. The mud in which the lotus roots grow represents material life, while the water through which the stalk passes represents the astral world. When the plant reaches the surface of the water and opens its bud, it represents spiritual being.
