The White Record Player Poem by Brandon Adamson

The White Record Player

It's like the white record player
i had when i was a kid
with those read-along records
There were so many of them
one for every fairy tale,
for all the latest movies
and i could keep myself occupied for hours
with that plastic, white record player.
Always a certain sound-
specific to each story-
when you heard it-
would signal
that it's time to turn the page
