The Whole World Is Turning Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

The Whole World Is Turning

The whole world is turning,
Jetting away to new destinations.
Fishing off the dock,
Loading the ships,
Seagulls flying.
Clouds progressing
To their nights rest.
And here I sit,
Listening to easy music,
About love and life,
Heating the winds blow
Steady with purpose,
White caps on
Thin waves trolling.
Fish jumping.
Nothing more to do,
Than sit and wonder,
About myself and you.
