The Window Poem by Billy Thompson

The Window

Rating: 5.0

Perched upon the verandah and
seated above the bougainvillea
Adventures of desire are partnered with
silent uneven motions
The butterfly enters the open window
and flutters
Upon closer inspection, true
and innocent love is revealed
The nectar flows freely
