The Winter Of Regret Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Winter Of Regret

I sigh and I fret
and I'll never forget
the last moment
I spent at your side.
I miss you my dear
life has been drear
and my poor soul
pines for you yet...

Cold and so dark
heavy the heart
the heart that once
fell apart in the
ice and the snow
of long long ago
'twas the winter
I shall never forget.
