The Wise People Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Wise People

Who can be called shrewd?
When he is heard
But not seen in public
His work is like magic

He does his work with precision
Success is carried with accurate decision
No point in futile discussion
He leaves behind no confusion

I am not speaking about cunning person
He has ulterior motives with reasons
He does it for selfish end
He has no regards for foes or friends

It is god gift to be an intelligent
Normal people find it as heavenly sent
Not all people can excel
Thy have only capability to feel and tell

The wise people use it for common good
They benefit people in neighborhood
Whole of village seeks guidance
It is luck that he belongs to them by chance

Nice poem Duane Lynch10 hours ago It is good fortune and grace when a leader is placed amongst us, a wise man/woman with which to put out trust in but it is not luck... That person has been put there for a reason, and who are we to question that reason. Great write :) Comment +1
