The Wish Of A Goddess Poem by Yuki Star Uzumaki

The Wish Of A Goddess

It may be wrong,
It may be vane,
But still I wish,
To be the one to gain
The power to make,
To create,
The power to take,
And the power too give.
I don't care about beauty,
I don't care about imortality,
All I care for is,
The harmony of life that the redwoods sing,
And the melody of love and hope that the blue jay brings.
I wish to be a Goddess,
I wish to make this wold a better place,
And fix the human race.
Make laughter and peace reign,
Ridding this world of war and pain.
Can I dare?
Yes, I must believe it is so.
So I will wait.
And if the day comes when I may receive this wish,
This will change,
You will be judged,
What will be your fate?
If you don't like that idea, you must change,
Your new life starts now.
