The World In Me Poem by Heather Iverson

The World In Me

My blood flows through my veins
Like the many rivers of the world
Wherein the the mouths they feed
Upon the many cultures and people
Who are me
And witth each passing current
Leaves behind the sifted sands
Of times never to be forgotten
