The World Needs Love Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The World Needs Love

The hungry child needs food and drink
The elderly must have their rest.
The dying man needs a caring hand
And a baby needs its mother's breast.

The author asks for solitude
The sportsman prays for steam and zest,
The musician depends on pianos grand
The climber aims for a mountain crest.

The orator seeks dramatic words
The Judge needs facts put to the test
The farmer must have his arable land
And ~ The World Needs Love ~
From East to West.
