The Worst Year Ever Poem by Kassandra Collins

The Worst Year Ever

She sits and wonders,
what did I do to deserve this,
The whole year was HELL,

She sits and cries,
Screaming ' God why would you take, them away, why would you let that happen'
You ask what happened?

She lost her kids to death,
beat up by her ex,
contracted herpes,
and lost her faith.

she's lost, scared, and confused
doesn't know which way to turn,
what to do
or how.

There she is drunk, high and numb,
she has the knife in her hand to heart,
ready to kill herself.

When a friend calls,
in the nick of time,
he comfort's her,
holds her,
and heals her.

Two months later,
they are in a relationship,
she's ok,
She can breath.

after they make love,
as they cuddle,
he whispers I love you,
everything's going to be ok,

where now at the end of the year,
she fine, she's pregnant and happy,
then kisses her boyfriend,
and say this had been The
Worst Year Ever,

but thanks to him,
she knows the worst year ever,
has come to a end,
now a new year is coming,
which is going to be her best,
year ever.
