The Wounds Of May Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Wounds Of May

The wounds of May
Now
Are carried forth
To June, festering.
Ah! last May how many wounds!
Suffering willed so and so the Muse
And
So the Suffering
Wanted to Civilization to transform.
